MusicTent is a real-time social music platform built for music lovers. Discover public and private music rooms, connect with friends who share your music taste, battle songs in live voting rounds, and explore a world of music together.

Chat Safety & Anti-Spam Measures

Rate limiting: maximum of 8 messages per minute per user in any room
Duplicate prevention: the same message cannot be posted more than 2 times in a row within 2 minutes
Line breaks limit: maximum of 3 new lines per message
Character limit: messages are limited to 400 characters in rooms and DMs
These restrictions help prevent spam, flooding, and chat abuse while keeping conversations readable

Leaderboard Points System

Sending a message in any room = 1 point
Sharing a song in any room = 3 points
Points are accumulated over a 30-day cycle and reset automatically at the end of each cycle
A countdown timer in the Leaderboards page shows the exact time remaining until the next reset

Premium Membership

Premium users enjoy an ad-free experience across the entire platform
Premium is a monthly recurring subscription managed securely via Stripe
Premium status persists even if you delete and recreate your account with the same Internet Identity
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible in Settings)
If a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, premium status is automatically revoked
